Sounds like your DOS screen is in full screen mode instead of a DOS Window.
Press Alt+Enter to switch to the DOS window mode.

hi once again listers, i've been trying to play some dos games using jfw 32.
when i type the name of the game, the desktop comes up, i know the dos
window is stil there by pressing alt and tab, but when i try to read it
using the jaws cerser it just reads the items on my desktop.
i've tryed ruting the pc cerser to the jaws, and the jaws cerser, bt this
has not helped me what so ever.
I am using jfw 3.2.31, and usualy everything works fine in dox boxes.
