The use of the alt+del key to read the pixel position of the active cursor
brings up a good point. Why did h-j pick this key combination for this
operation? It makes no sense to me. Thus far, I think, h-j has the market
on using the insert key in combination with other keys to produce effects,
so, why not use it? This sort of thing really bugs me because it assumes
that no other program is going to need alt+del. I could understand it if
insert+del was used, but it's there empty, waiting, unused.
Anyway, enough soap box.
H-j--and the rest of us too--think carefully before you assign keystrokes
because the keystroke you assign today may cause some poor hapless user
hours of grief later on.
