config.sys question

I noticed that my config.sys has buffers set at 60 and files set at 20 or
vice verse.  that seems a bit small to me, but never really understood its
purpose.  Should I set that at a higher rate.  I am using windows 95.
thanks for any advice.  To keep it on topic.  I would like jaws to be able
to run with the computer at its most optimum setting.  thanks.
