Hi, listers:
I received the jfw 3.3 upgrade CD,and have been trying to install the ms
speech engine.
I am running Win98, have a 233mhz system, 128mb of RAM.
I ran spchapi.exe first. When I ran mstts.exe, the CD drive spun for about
30 seconds, slowed down, and then sounds like it is trying to access the
file, and then stalls.
I have let it run for 20 minutes with no results.
ONe time I got a message saying there may be a corrupt cab file, but this
hasn't been consistent.
I'm wondering if anyone else has had problems with this type of issue.
If so, are there any "dll's" to be aware of, or anything elsi I should try?
HJ tech support finally told me to contact MIcrosoft because this is not
HJ's product.
