I am mystified by this thread. When I press the num lock key, it says
either "num lock on" or "num lock off", and I am unaware of anything I've
ever activated to enable this feature. It works on both an NT and Win98
system, running Jaws version 3.30.26. I've looked through the keyboard
manager but find nothing about the num lock key in there to indicate that a
script is causing this behavior.

        Hi Bonnie,

I don't know if a way to force JFW to speak the state of caps lock
if key
echo is set to none. My guess, and it's just that, is that a script
would
probably allow for this to be accomplished.
        Best Regards,

        Les
