I succeeded in making Jaws read the bulleted list in MSWord, and will try to
respond to your question. I got help to accomplish this from HJ tech
support. You may wish to contact them to fill in any gaps in my current
recollection.
Before setting out the steps, I did this using Jaws 3.3.25 on a Windows NT
system.
I first checked bullets under format in word. I then opened the
configuration manager in MSWord with insert+6. I found a place in my
document where I had put in a bullet. I think I then invoked the graphics
labeler with insert+g. (What I don't recall is whether I also loaded the
Jaws default configuration file, and if so, why.) After invoking the
graphics labeler, I then followed the Jaws prompts to label the graphic. I
then saved the change to the MSWord configuration manager with control+s,
then exited Winword.jcf Jaws configuration manager with alt+f4, to return
to the document window in MSWord. I hope this helps.
