Hi listers and Dennis Brown,
I just upgraded to windows98, second addition. It works really well, with
maybe the exception of two things. Not as consistent as win95, and a tad
slower. However it makes the system y2k compliant, stuff like that, so I am
trying it out. One thing I am having trouble with is, when I enable a wav
file to begin, it plays fine, except when it is done playing, I have to hit
alt/f4 to close the box. I once did this in win95 where I go into alt/v, go
to folders or something and type something like media/media play stop, or
something to that effect. However, in windows98, I see no place to do this.
So, if any one, or if Dennis is reading this maybe you know or have an idea
how to re configure this to play and stop on its own when a wav file is
done playing.
As for a reply from Dennis on the making of a frame for playing both date
and time by hitting insert/f12, do I go back in, open the frame manager by
setting around the entire clock and date the frame, leave the first box
blank where it says name the file for this hot key to echo both time and
date? Just tab to insert/f12, hit that key stroke again, tab to okay and
enter, and that is it? If not, could you walk me through this frame for
time and date. By the way, I am using tclock program for providing the date.
