are you certain that you are not in full scren mode? this behaviour
can occur if you are. pressing f11 as you may know toggles back and
forth. if you are not in full screen mode and this behaviour is still
exibitted, have you re-installed jfw since you installed windows.98?
One more question, tell us more about your windows.98? Is it an oem,
is it second edition, what is the res on the pc what is the color
depth set to?
these things can cause problems.
