Hi Zachary, I am italian and I had the same problem. You can use configuration manager this way: 1 - press insert+6 2 - press ctrl+d (default.jcf) 3 - alt+s (set optons menu) 4 - down arrow to "graphics and symbols" and hit enter 5 - tab to "ansi characters verbosity" and choose none (1 of 5) 6 - tab to OK and hit enter then save the configuration. As regards the "period/punto" I think there is no solution but I will tell you what happens to me, in case it can help you. About a year ago, I installed an italian version of Jfw 3.2 and some months ago I installed an english version of jfw 3.3 without deleting the previous one. Now, when I load another language, even english, jfw says the italian word "punto" instead of the english one "period". All other punctuations are said correctly. I suppose that Jfw uses a file of the italian version but I do not know which one. Hope this helps. Regards.
