Although my advice is good, I gave you the wrong command to view attachments. Many apologies for my error. I would understand if Nick made this a new rule for the list, that users verify the accuracy of their suggested commands. You can view attachments in Outlook 98 as follows: either when you are on the message before opening, or in the message, press shift+f10 to open the context menu and arrow down the menu to the view attachments submenu. When you press enter, JFW will read the name of the attachment. If you press enter again and have Word 97 loaded (I don't know about any other wordprocessor), the attachment will open. If there are multiple attachments, you move between them by right and left arrowing. I don't know why this is, but if there is no attachment, the view attachment item doesn't appear when you arrow down the shift+f10 menu list; if there is one or more, the view attachments submenu is there.
