Hi Rose;

I had the same results, but found the solution. It is in the system tray.
Press insert + F11.

Arrow down to the icon. It may say "unconnected" or a temperature reading.

The default button is right click, so press it and bring up the context menu.

Arrow down to the view option and press enter.

>From here tab to the OK button and press insert + B to read the information.

As it read for me it kept saying "combo" so I had to reclass a window.

With the jaws or invisible cursor on any part of the information such as
the temperature press insert + control + F1 to get a report of the window
information.

If it says the control ID = 1010 you are in the right place. It also says
it is a button but I don't know why because it doesn't act like one.

Press insert + 7 on the key board. This opens the windows reclassification
option of the configuration file.

Activate the PC cursor and tab once.

Arrow down to static text and press enter.

Press enter twice to accept the changes.

I hope this helps.

Has anyone tried the friendly weather program? I downloaded it, tried
it but never got a weather report, it connected but then I heard
absolutely nothing and doing an Alt Tab through the open windows only
showed the ones I expected to be open, Outlook Express, and my
Connection manager and Jaws.

What did I miss?
