Do you have a hardware synthesizer such as Dec express, accent or
doubletalk? If not forget it software synthesizers require much more power
then that. If you do have a hardware synth it will be slow but it will
work. I have a friend who is using jfw 3.2 with win 95 on a 486 25 with a
Braille n squeak.
