I am totally blind and have looked into the Goodfeel demo. I am a pianist
and was tired of going through the Library of Congress to get their out
dated scores. Also, I found that it took to long for these scores to reach
me. The program seems to work well with JFW. Below is a message from the
president of Dancing Dots Bill McCann. With in this message you will find
out how you can reach him and how to down load a version of the demo disk of
Goodfeel. I am wondering what your student's name and what instrument is he
or she majoring? I hope this is not to nosy for asking this. I hope this

Hi,
If you are blind, you may want to try a program called Cakewalk. Cakewalk
converts your PC into a multi-track recording studio. We have sold
Cakewalk to blind musicians all over the world although it was developed
for sighted people and is very popular as a mainstream application. With
Cakewalk, you can record your own arrangements and compositions and make
an audio recording and/or a printed score for sighted players. You can
save your work as a MIDI file and pass it to our GOODFEEL(TM) translator
for transcription into music braille.
Our sighted customers use a music notation package called Lime. Lime
converts your PC into a blank sheet of staff paper. After you have
entered your piece into Lime, you can pass it to GOODFEEL too for
transcription into braille.
You can download our GOODFEEL demo
from www.dancingdots.com or we'll mail you a diskette if you like. I am
assuming that you read braille music notation. If you need an
