Flor, no, that's wrong.
I just copied from when I installed IE5, it's still on my Run path.
It should be:

d:msie50\ie5setup

Try that & see.
Best wishes,
Harry

Subject: Problem With Installation of IE5

Hi List members,

I presently have IE4.01, JFW33026, Microsoft Internet Mail, and Windows 95.
When I tried to install IE5 tonight from the JFW CD, I could only get as
far as the "install typical components" radiobutton or the minimal
components one below that. When I pressed 'next button' I got 'this
program has performed an illegal operation' message only a few seconds
afterwards, whether JFW was loaded or not. Thus, I cannot proceed with the
install. (The file I understand to be the setup file is iesetup.exe)
Should I try installing IE5 from the Web, or should I reinstall IE4.01 and
then try installing IE5? Your help will be much appreciated.
