Hello Gary,
Try this:
1. Select Start, then Run...
2. On the command prompt, type "SysEdit" and whack Enter. (leave off the
quotes).
3. It will place you in the AutoExec.Bat file, so you'll need to hit
Control+Tab once to get to the Config.sys file.
5. Move down to the last line, and if it isn't blank, hit the End key, then
whack Enter--this will create a blank line.
Now type "Numlock=Off"
6. Hit Alt+F, then select "Save" and hit Alt+F4 to exit SysEdit, then
reboot the system.
