Hi Listers, Any clues as to what might fix my problem. It all started when I decided to try Ronolog - "Ronolog functions to supplement the IRC client software, mIRC�, using Microsoft Agent technology to render the text streams in mIRC as audible speech. This enables blind users to leverage the tremendous base of online volunteer help available for the support of mIRC." I downloaded the four programs that Ronlog told me I needed and ran them to install their contents. It seems as if it was either after running the spchcpl.exe (Speech Control Panel) or tv_enua.exe (Lernout & Hauspie(R) TruVoice Text-To-Speech Engine - English). I am using Windows 98 and JFW 3.2 with Eloquence and have a SBLive soundcard. Of interest, I also have the facility to use JFW with a Braille Lite and that is working fine. Also, I have a demo of JFW 3.3 and can use it with Eloquence without the sproblem. Remedies attempted to date include reinstalling JFW. Lyn Eagers - Visit the jfw ml web page: http://jfw.cjb.net
