Hi Lawrence.

MP3 files have quite a good sound quality.  For me, it's good enough for my
stereo, but that can be subjective.  It is audio with what are considered
unhearable sounds taken out.  For some, this is noticeable.

As far as the size of MP3 files, the general rule is 1 MB per minute.  This
can be different, depending on sample rate and encoding method, but it's a
good figure in most cases.
