For any and all word novices, first you must make sure that your document is
maximized. The key word here is maximize, maximize, maximize. If your
document is maximized, make sure your program is maximized. Second, the next
thing you can do is get the status line by pressing insert plus page down on
the numpad. That should tell you where you are as far as page numbers in your
word documents. The next thing I would do is to explore your find dialog box
to see what is there. You may get some enlightening things in that box.
