Hi! I have used Mathematica2.3 extensively. I have no major problems with
it. However, fractions are written in the normal form. JFW thinks that
your one line output is the text containing three lines. You need to make
Mathematica print the output in Fortran form. The command is
FortranForm[]. Maple is like Mathematica. I have not used Maple in
Windows environment. However, I have played with it in DOS environment.
I have not tried the latest versions of these programs. Give them a try.
