Tom, hopefully by the time you read this you will have solved your own
problem, but...
My guess would be that your problem is either an ISP limitation or somewhere
in your dial up network protocols there may be a limit to the amount of
stuff you can download.
Those would be two areas to investigate as others on this site have had
little or no problems downloading the beta version of jfw.
