Looks like you skipped one of the steps that make this easier and automatically will assign the sound to all events. Start all over and do things in this order. 1. Click on user name. 2. Go to More then submenu to Alert Accept modes. 3. Tab until you hear "sutup personal user sounds button" and hit enter. 4. This is the important part. Just hit tab until you hear "use the same sound file for all events checkbox not check" Hit space to select this. 5. Now tab until you user identification checkbox not checked and check it. from here you can tab into the edit box and type in the path to the wav file or you can hit enter on the select button and locate the file in a my computer style. You only need to do one or the other. If you have done this correctly now when you tab through the box, right after the test button, you will here the cancel and okay buttons and then the tab will take you back to user ID. By checking the box in User ID that name will be spoken for all events. You can only test it in this one place. The list of of events were to use to assign sound schemes globaly, such as teh uh and frog etc., So all you really need to worry about is making sure the check box is checked when Jaws says user ID. If you go through all this and if you come to the end and there are a bunch of things between the test button and cancerl button, then jaws lied as, he sometimes does, about the checkbox status and you will have to go check the box.
