No, there's only one message.
I have a Braille display & speech.
When I delete the message , the Braille shows the subsequent message header but the
speech repeats the prior, deleted message as though it is still there, but it really
isn't.
Weird.

I don't know why, but sometimes you will get two or even more copies
of the same message in your box. The original message was deleted, but
the copies weren't. That's why you hear the same message again. I
would love to get rid of this "message deleted" announcement. You can
know that the message has been deleted because you'll automatically go
to the next message on the list. At any rate, those who don't want it
should be able to turn it off.
