I did more than that, I wrote sales and blasted them for
this before I wrote tech support. I also blasted tech
support and basically told them that the product is probably
not defective, it works just as intended, the interface was
a defective idea. I asked for the name of an appropriate
executive whose backside I could lite a fire under. I
didn't get a name.<G>
I think this weekend I will make another append to my case #
and ask if they have downloaded the JFW Demo and done any
testing yet.

No, there is no readme file and I wonder why. Usually
software
manufacturers are intent on readme files. The only way
adaptec is going to
ever address accessibility concerns is if you pester them.
so, I would
strongly suggest writing into adaptec's tech support and ask
them why they
had to muck with the interface.
