Here is a temporary workaround for the bug in the 3.31 beta that has JFW
reading the deleted message, rather than the new message.
1) While in Outlook Express, hit Insert+0 to launch the Script Manager.
2) Hit Control+End to reach the bottom of this script file and hit Enter to
give yourself some work space.
3) Cut and paste, (or just type in), the following script:
; Temporary workaround for DeleteMessage problem.
script DeleteWorkAround()
StopSpeech() ; used to silence speech.
SpeechOff() ; don't want speech during process.
{Escape} ; Move back to Message List.
Pause() ; give screen time to settle down.
{Control+D} ; Issue delete message script.
Pause() ; give screen time to settle down.
{Enter} ; Move into next message.
SpeechOn() ; Turn on speech again.
EndScript
4) Hit Control+S to compile.
5) While in this script, hit Control+d to edit it's properties.
6) Tab to Synopsis: field and enter "DeleteMessage workaround", then Tab to
the Assign Hotkey: field and hit Control+D.
You'll be given a warning that the Control+D is already assigned. Hit Tab
and whack Enter on Ok.
Tab to Ok and whack Enter to leave the Properties dialog.
7) Hit Alt+F4 to exit Script Manager.
You may need to Alt+Tab out of, then back into the Outlook Express to get
the new script active.
