reporting of links in outlook express

When reading a message in outlook express it reports the number of linksthat
are there.  if you turn off the vertual curser it gets rid of them.  If you
do this, the message will not read to the bottom.  I have tried maximizing
the window but it makes no difference.  Inorder to get the whole message,
the vertual curser must be on.  Is there something in the msoe.jss that can
be commented out to get rid of the link report?
