I missed the beginning of this thread and am not sure how this problem has
prograssed since JFW 3.0 but at the time it was a known bug/problem that on
some systems, run jaws first caused all kinds of problems.
If I run jaws first on a compaq armada 1585DMT, the system will start,
essentially run in echo all mode never shutting up and usually will then
crash after a few minutes. If I start jaws using a shortcut in the startup
folder, it works normally.
