I've been watching this list and a few others for a while under a friend's account. I'm new to replying, not to JAWS, but from what I understand, the current JAWS is 3.3. The next version is being worked on and is 3.31. A trial went out a few weeks ago to us public folk for download to check out and try with our diverse software we use (3.31.22). Another version was posted Friday (3.31.35) which may be what is released. WE, as JAWS users, get a chance to try it and say if there is anything serious. WE get a say in the process! I think the beta testing goes to a select group first, they find a lot of stuff, then to the public when the really big stuff is mostly ironed out. My friend works for a software co. and this seems standard. Even with quality assurance departments not evry bug and problem with every program and other podunk software can be found. If you don't want to test the software and see it before it's released - to be the first kid on the block to play with it - then stop stressing out and don't worry about it.
