I don't use E-groups, yet, but I understand that you need to enable Java in
your web browser's options. If you're using Internet Explorer, version 5,
you might try going to Internet Options--under the Tools menu--and moving to
the "Advanced" tab. Arrow down to the section for Java Vm. Within that
group of settings, I have "Java Jit Compiler" enabled. When I pressed F1
for help on that item, it was described as follows:
"Specifies whether Internet Explore should create all Java applets
automatically by using its internal Microsoft VM compiler. For example,
when you visit a web site that uses Java applets, Internet Explorer
automatically creates and runs them for you, regardless of what operating
system you use."
