All right, I'm going to rephrase my question to see if I can be a little
more clear.
These questions result from a class I am taking in Microsoft Access. Any
suggestions on working with Access (or Excel, which I'm also taking) would
be greatly appreciated.
I have a database which I've already designed. The textbook decides we need
to learn how to reorganize the fields in the database. Deleting a field we
no longer need was simple. However, traditional techniques for reorganizing
the fields don't seem to work.
I open the database, and choose tables. I find the table I wish to open,
and click "design." No problem.
Now, let's assume that there are 9 fields in the database. The book wants
me to take the third field and move it to the bottom. When I try to select,
however, JAWS says that part of the field definition has been selected, but
not the entire thing. And both "cut" and "copy" are unavailable. I expect
I'm doing something wrong.
I hope this makes my question clearer.
