Hello Chris and JFW listers.
From time to time, some of us complain about the lack of responsiveness
from Henter-Joyce with respect to comments made on this list, a complaint
that has, at times, been quite justified in my opinion. Of late, however,
we have seen a number of substantive postings from Chris Hofstader in
Development at HJ, messages that I have found useful and encouraging.
Although these messages do not, perhaps cannot, address specific bugs in
program code or in script support for particular applications, they do
confirm that HJ does rely upon the contributions to this list as a valuable
source of feedback. I hope this connection with the company will continue,
surely more productive than the erstwhile, occasional drop-ins from this
person and that from HJ.
