Q / How to restore I E 5 lost folders

Hi Listers,  A recent crash resulted in the apparent loss of about half of
my mail folders.
Is there a way to restore these?
Sorry if this has been addressed already.  I am just beginning  to use the
3.31 and I E 5 upgrades.
