Internet Explorer Search and JFW 3.31

Hi, all,
    In general, I'm having a lot of fun with JFW 3.31 and IE, except for the
search function, control e.  The virtual pc cursor seems to lock itself into
an area, perhaps the status bar, which says "Internet Explorer Search".
Anyone have this problem or solutions for it?
