jfw and dos programs

Ok listers, another question.  First of all, I don't know hardly anything
about dos.  I wonder if it is possible to use jfw in dos programs.  I am
going to have to take some computer programming classes at school, so if I
need to work in dos, is it possible?  And if so, how?  Please post answer or
