I am not technically oriented, but have experience in the use of JFW 3.3026
under Win 95 (English)with Word in Office 97 (Spanish).
I have found that some Word's shortcut keys do work, but others do not. The
reason for this is that there are keystroke combination coincidences with
keys used in the English version of Word for other purposes (eg. When
pressing the control + a in my system, the select all edit feature does not
work, but the open file dialog is opened instead. Conversely, when using the
documented ctrl + e combination for selecting all text as documented in the
Spanish version, the center function is activated!). The best thihng to do
is to avoid shortcut keys and use the options in the pull-down menus or
inthe the tool bars.
I am also using JFW 3.3026 at work with Win 98 (Spanish) with no key
conflicts. The only problem is that JFW's messages(in English ie. JAWS
language) are spoken with Spanish pronounciation rules when using
Eloquence's Spanish.
There has been in the past a free 3.2 version download for JAWS
language(Spanish), but I am not sure if it is still available. There are
also free download scripts for JFW 3.2 Spanish (Encarta 98 & 99, Excel 97 ,
iE 4, OE and Word 97) on the following site (Spanish):

Thanks to Guillermo for the information regarding the return of reading and
editing Spanish character features in JFW 3.31 version. Now there is no
need to return to JFW 3.2 in order to work in Spanish.
