Hi David.
I can confirm that video related problems did not occur with my install of
v31.35. I've thrown tantrums with previous versions of JFW and I have been
highly critical of the video card problems to the point where I have
discouraged people from acquiring JFW.
On my current machine which caused heaps of video card problems with JFW I
installed successfully on the first attempt - a previously impossible
occurrence. I had also to modify display settings with previous versions
of JFW and this also has not been necessary.
It does seem to me however that video card problems will stil occur but in
fewer instances. HJ need to keep up with the play with each new release of
JFW to ensure that the problem is lessened and that need to be up-to-date
is definitely something of a challenge. IN order to be fair to HJ i
believe this latest release is a very significant improvement in terms of
overall machine stability and I am also now prepared to accept that working
with Internet Explorer with JFW is much better than it was before.
Vaughan.
