Reply to all sends your message to all persons, like in the BCC or CC
fields. Reply to author means that the reply goes back to the list from
which it originated. To create a reply to the person who wrote the message,
you have to begin a new message and put their address in the to field, or if
that address already appears in your address book, you can import it to the
to field from there. When you find their personal address in the original
message, you can highlight it, copy to clip board, with control c, and
import it into your to field by entering that field and hitting control v,
which imports it from the clip board, where you just copied it. Hope that
helps.
