to move a shortcut key from one version to another is done the following way:
1: locate the shortcut on your desktop and press alt+enter
2: you have something like this for jfw 3.3 c:\jfw33\jfw.exe on the command
line field. you can edit the line bypressing the end key then using the left
arrow and place the cursor over the backslash character after the 3 and type a
1 to change the commandline to c:\jfw331\jfw.exe. this changes the hotkey
assignment to jfw 3.31.
3: press enter and it is done.
You still have jfw 3.3 on your system and it will still come running if you
have the run jaws first checked. You must press insert+j to bring up the jaws
window and then press alt+f and press enter on the run jaws fiirst to uncheck
it. Then unload jaws and press the alt+ctrl+j to bring the new version and do
the insert+j step again to check the run jaws first item.
