Hi listers, I have recently purchased a new computer
with Windows 98 running on it.
At work I am using Windows NT and I seem to be having a few problems
at home that I am hoping someone here can help me with.
1. When I press the ALT key to bring up the main menu in any application,
the menu choices are not talking - the File, Edit, View etc. options
are not talking. When I press down arrow to go into the
next menu then it is talking. Any ideas.
I am running JFW 3.3.022. I have not yet downloaded the 26 patch
for Jaws. Will this make a difference?
2. When I press Alt-Tab it says Jaws and also JFW33.
At work I only get the Jaws program running. Should I close the JFW33 option?
How can I do this?
On my NT machine also it does not say "Alt Tab" but on the 98 machine
it does speak it. Why would this be?
3. Should I keep the tool bar or whatever it is called displayed or is
there a way to turn it off? Is this
a desireable option with JFW in Windows 98.
