Outlook express 5 resding messages

How can I get OE5 to read a message a line at a time with Jaws 3.3.22? All I
have so far managed is all the text or the top line and bottom lines on the
screen missing out the central body.
apologies if this has been solved a million times already,  now it will be a
million and one.
