It seems AOL is a bane for many here, I am glad I don't use it.
Anyway, you could use the speech off and on commands, put:
SpeechOff () ;where you want jaws to shut up and put
SpeechOn () ;where you want jaws to continue speaking
Or, you could put a semicolon in front of any script line you don't want
jaws to process.
The semicolon tells jaws to ignore any text after it and skip to the next
line.
I would suggest you put a line such as:
; Gian Nov 1999 because it drove me nuts
on the line above each change to make the alterations easier to find later
if you want the feature back for some reason.
Don't forget to save the jss file so it recompiles.
