jaws not reading subject line

Hi all,

  It's Vicki here.

  It seems as though my Jaws problems just keep coming.

  For some messages Jaws does not seem to want to read the subject line.
This is when the message has not been opened yet.  It will read the date
and who it's from, but not the subject of the email.

  Any ideas on why this might be happening would be much appreciated.
