Hi again listers. It's me, Chris.
In my last post, the subject line was JFW 3.31.35 and a couple of web sites.
I had originally intended to ask a question about my friends web site with
an annimation on it where JFW will read the alt tag for the animation but
then the html to perform the function is spoken as well. For those not
familiar with alt tags, think of them as captions to pictures found in a
bookor on a web site. I wasn't sure if anyone could help me come up with
some way that the alt tag could be spoken, but the html would be kept
silent. I'm not sure if I'm making myself very clear here, so to get a
better idea, please go to http://www.theramp.net/lilzman/ and have a look
for yourself. My webmaster also made this particular site, and our goal is
to make the site pleasing to the sighted person, but as speech friendly as
possible. Given the way html code can be written, that might be a
fine line since different browsers handle information in different ways.
Can anyone versed in html or Java script give me a hand here?
I will forward any ideas to my webmaster for possible fixes.
Thanks
Chris
