an interesting conumdrem this does pose.  it works in a real intuitive
way with the v cursor off but with the v cursor on it is quite
confusing.  however I also discovered something tantalizing.  when you
alt left arrow when finished with the top portion of the story, the
continue link you find does not seem to be the one that takes you to
the rest of the story.  it seems as though there are two types of
continue link.  one that takes you to more stories of a particular
type and another that continues a story they look the same from a
screen reader's point of view so this begins to look more like a code
rather than a jfw issue.
I shall continue to work with this.  Next, ctrl+tab?
