Hi Carl,
You can find the Plugging at http://access.adobe.com. You will
note this isn't a www page. First, install the reader you have on
CD. Download and install the Plugin following the directions.
You should restart. It would also help to change your display
settings in JFW 31-35.
When you restart, go to Control Panel by the method comfortable
for you. In Control Panel, go to display. In display use
shift-tab to find the tab options. Right arrow to settings. Tab
once for a list of settings. Your display will take 32-bit
settings or if your uncomfortable with that setting you may use
high color. There may only be three choices in this list
depending on your display. I've changed my settings to 32-bit and
it works. You now likely have it on 256 colors. Tab over to okay
but don't enter yet. Use the alt-tab combination to locate the
open windows. You man see windows such as Control Panel, and My
Computer depending on how you navigated to display. Close those
windows You now will have two open windows, JAWS and the display
settings. Go to JAWS and use the Insert F4 and then enter. At
that point you will be on the okay button where you will press
enter. Then restart with the reset switch. Changing the display
will help you with JAWS and Windows applications and may improve
the readability of Adobe Acrobat pages with the Plugin. If you
have questions email me privately.
Regards,
John O'Rourke
