Hello JFW listers.
As one who does a lot of script writing, I have noticed, as of version
3.026, that some icons in some applications, not the changeable ones, show
up nicely at times, can be labelled appropriately and such, only to either
disappear altogether on a subsequent run or to display only part of a
label. Even more mysterious to me, especially given the tricks I have used
to expose them, is the problem that some icons, again not the
size-changing, color-changing variety, do not show up at all, even with
graphics on. They are there, obvious to sighted assistants, within the
normal parameters of size and such but, try as we might, unseeable, either
by voice or on the braille display and, hence, unlabellable. I wonder if I
am alone in having this problem or if others have experienced it. If so,
does anyone have any suggestions about what I might do to bring these icons
out of the woodwork? I am using a 480 by 640 screen with 256 colors,
supposedly optimal.
