Jerry, I see this problem all the time where there are graphics that are invisible to jaws. I have not noticed the ones that appear and disappear randomly, but that certainly does not mean they don't exist. In one application I was working with, the developer drew the graphic directly to the screen. Jaws could not find it. I was in contact with the developer at the time. HJ suggested that they draw the image to a local off-screen copy, then use a BitBlt operation to copy the local copy of the bitmap to the screen in a single operation.
