I always have a bit of trouble with that.  What I do is to hit control R for
reply.  This allos me to arrow donw to the address and then I highlight it
and copy it and move it to the address book.
With the new release of jfw, this step should be a lot easier now, since you
can maneuver around the message with your PC cursor.
