The latest version of JFW (3.31.35) works very well with Internet Explorer
version 5. There are significant differences between IE5 (and earlier) for
JFW before 3.31.35. With IE5 and JFW3.31.35, we can use the Virtual PC
Cursor to make Internet documents read like ordinary word-processed
documents. (You will find IE5.0 on the latest JFW CD also.) On the other
hand, if you wish to remain using IE4.01 with JFW3.31.35, you can switch off
the virtual cursor in the Config manager permanently or by using <InsertZ>
locally. You would then proceed in the former manner as with IE4.01, going
screen by
screen with <ControlPageDown> instead of continuous scrolling as with
<InsertDownArrow>"say-all".

Subject: LATEST VERSION OF JAWS AND INTERNET EXPLORER
: Hello.
: I have just recieved my copy of the latest version of JFW and hope to
: install it when I get my new CD ROM drive.
: How well does it work with Internet Explorer?
: Could anyone tell me how much better or otherwise it works with Internet
: Explorer.
: I read from the information on the Henter-joyce web site that there have
: been changes made to the product.
: As I only recieved a CD ROM in a cardboard cover for the new upgrade, I
: don't know exactly how the changes will affect the working of Internet
: Explorer.
: Perhaps someone who already has the 3.31 version could give me some idea.
