Num lock off?

Has anyone noticed, or is it just me, that when you start up jfw 3.31, I
usually hit the control key to shut him up and when I do this I here a chirp
from the key board.  I have the tone turned on from control pannel for
toggle keys.  Anyway, this chirp from the control key evidently turns the
num lock off as well.  I use jaws on two different computers.  this happens
on both.  anyone know about this?
