The only involvment I have found that works is supply and demand.

Businesses understand best the demand to purchase; Which effects their 
bottom line.

I.B.M. must like the older technoligy for connection of hardwar, beause 
annoucment this week for 300XL D machines ready for shipping in January, 
will have two of each ports.

So the big boy I.B.M. is keeping us in busienss.

There must be some buyer demand that is cuaisng them to keep them around.
